Animated GIF art: Savoring A Passing Moment

I’m new to this new revival of Animated GIFs, but it’s a beautiful thing. Photographer Jamie Beck and motion graphics artist Kevin Burg are making the internet fresh again. How many Slaves work for you?

That smartphone, T-shirt, cup of coffee, all the stuff we buy. Some comes from slaves. This website can help you understand your influence on slavery. Not so you can feel bad. Not so you’ll stop buying stuff, so you will ask the brands you like to find out where their materials are coming from.

CiviCRM: A CRM Built for Advocacy Groups and Non-Profits

There are a bunch of CRM solutions but I’ve never heard of an Open Source one? CiviCRM is built with advocacy group and non-profits in mind. CiviCRM is a powerful contact, fundraising and eCRM system that allows you to record and manage information about your various constituents including volunteers, activists, donors, employees, clients, vendors, etc.

It lets you track and execute donations, transactions, conversations, events or any type of correspondence with each constituent and store it all in one, easily accessible and manageable source.

It worth a try, for budget conscious non-profits, and organizations.
