My friend, John Mcwhirter, had a vision to create a place where people from all groups, and denominations could collectively pray for the city of Miami. “You don’t need to join a group. You don’t need to attend a meeting. This is not one more obligation on your already busy calendar. This is only a request — a challenge — to ask you to cover this great city, her residents, and her leaders with powerful prayer.” Visit PrayMiami and be part of the movement.
Cutting Down a Design Institution
I.D. Magazine’s Jan/Feb issue will be it’s last monthly newsstand issue. Not only have they been plagued by the same issues that plague most magazine periodicals, but they are also receiving stiff competition from websites and blogs that post great design content for free. They will continue to have an online presence… but the fall of I.D. Magazine might be a sign of things to come for other design related publications. Maybe they should lower their price… I’m looking at you Print!
You Dropped Food on the Floor. Do You Eat It?
Now, this makes it so much more complicated. My system of “Does it have hair stuck to it” has worked well for me for years.

Exit Through The Gift Shop : A Banksy Film
Banksy fascinates me. He de-constructs what ART is, and his insurgent attitude towards illegitimate authority is just fun and poignant. I see him as a modern day Marcel Duchamp.

things to learn
SwissMiss is my all time favorite blog to follow. I don’t know how she find all these beautiful gems. My favorite of the moment is this short animation by Christian Borstlap for Dutch children’s charity, Kinderpostzegels.
